Supporting Women ... Changing the World
P.E.O. Scholar Awards (PSA) was established in 1991 to provide substantial merit–based awards for women of the United States and Canada who are pursuing a doctoral level degree at an accredited college or university. PSA is a competitive scholarship program available to doctoral level women. For more information about the Award, eligibility requirements, and past scholars, please go to the P.E.O. International website.
P.E.O. Scholar Award Recipients
The trustees of the P.E.O. Scholar Awards have given careful consideration to the over 900 outstanding women nominated by local chapters. One hundred have been selected as Scholars for the 202-2021 academic year. Congratulations to Chapter Z for sponsoring a student, the only Nevada recipient, for the upcoming academic year.

Become a PSA Laureate Chapter!
Recognizing that not all chapters have the opportunity to nominate a woman for a Scholar Award, the new PSA Laureate program has been created to help all local chapters feel the pride of ownership in the Scholar Awards project. The program is designed to encourage local chapters to promote and support the Scholar Awards project. Because Laureate means “worthy of the greatest honor or distinction” it is a fitting descriptor for our participating chapters. For more information, visit the page with “Laureate Chapter Information.”
Nevada Laureate Chapters
Congratulations to the following Nevada Laureate Chapters: B, C, D, E, G, H, K, W, AC, AI, AK, AM, and AO for having donated $500 or more in one lump sum to the Scholars Awards project.
